They are created by crossing a traditional photoperiod mother with a carefully selected autoflowering father, then backcrossing to stabilise the line. The resulting plants stay photoperiod (you still flip them to flower at 12/12)- but they mature 2–3 weeks earlier than their full-length counterparts.

What are Fast Version cannabis seeds?
Fast Version seeds are photoperiod feminised plants bred to flower 2–3 weeks sooner than their original versions. They’re created by crossing a standard photoperiod mother with an autoflowering father, producing quicker-maturing genetics that still rely on the 12/12 light cycle to bloom.
Are Fast Versions the same as autoflowers?
No- Fast Versions still depend on light changes (12 hours of light, 12 hours of dark) to trigger flowering, just like regular feminised seeds. Autoflowers switch to bloom automatically based on age. Fast Versions simply finish faster once they’re flipped.
How much faster do they flower?
Typically two to three weeks shorter than the original photoperiod strain. A plant that usually takes 9–10 weeks might finish in just 6–7 weeks when grown as a Fast Version.
Do Fast Versions lose potency or yield?
Not at all. When bred properly, they retain the full potency, flavour, and yield of the original strain- the only difference is a shorter flowering window.
